A Bot that Talks Like Professor Jordan Peterson

I started reading "Maps of Meaning" written by Dr. Jordan Peterson after I watched all of the lectures on youtube. The book extends ideas from thinkers like Jung, Freud, and Nietzsche by discussing the meta-structures of myths and using modern analytical tools to interpret archetypal narratives.

I was curious about the meta-structures of the meta-analysis. So I trained a bot to generate sentences from the "Maps of Meaning" content, roughly speaking.

Generating sentences

I wrote a program that creates a model of language patterns and then calculates a weight for the connections between them. It takes in a word string and outputs sentences that resemble the input data. I loaded it up with text from the first half of the book and with transcripts from the first three lectures.
